Mack Vac Hydrovac Services
Non-destructive excavation, trenching Edmonton and area
Mack Vac Excavations Ltd. focuses on non-destructive excavations, using their powerful vacuum trucks to safely expose buried pipelines, utilities and other underground structures for removal, maintenance, repairs and replacement.
Mack Vac trucks can also be used to vacuum water from building foundations, clean out culverts, sewer lines and drain reservoirs.
Hydrovacs can also be used to remove water from building foundations, clean out culverts and sewer lines, drain reservoirs, septic tanks and clean up flooded areas.
If you've got a pipeline or cable to install, Mack Vac has trenchers available.

What is directional drilling?
Directional drilling (also refered to as horizontal directional drilling) uses a bend near the bit, as well as a downhole, steerable mud motor. The bend directs the bit in a different direction from the wellbore axis when the entire drillstring is not rotating. This is achieved by pumping drilling fluid through the mud motor. It is a minimal impact, trenchless method of installing underground utilities including pipes, conduit or cables. It is a relatively shallow arc or radius along a prescribed underground path.
"When I need a hydrovac, Mack Vac is my first call"
Their operators and equipment are more productive than pretty much any other hydroexcavation contractor I've used. They usually make it work on my schedule, but I'll put off a job for a day or two to make it work with Mack Vac."
